I go to sleep every night thinking that I will wake up early the next morning and run when I actually wake up, I go back to sleep because I am too tired and too lazy. How can I change this?

Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room right next to your light switch so you have to actually get up and move, and it will wake you up more so than just hitting your snooze while lying in bed. Have your running clothes laying out already and just do it. Just syke yourself out to do it. It's like jumping into the pool for the first time in the summer, or jumping off the high dive. You can't give yourself the option, you just have to do it. Then after you do, it'll make you feel so good that you'll want to get up every morning to do it again. Good luck! I know it's hard.

I'll tell you what i did. I got one of those really loud, annoying old school clocks that doesn't let you fall back asleep. (lol). As far as motivation besides that, I have bought an iPod and have used it for running. It's made me feel more upbeat to listen to music while I'm working out, plus it takes your mind off of the run. But DONT eat before you run or drink coffee. Your stomach will hurt and the coffee will make you jittery while running.
