Drive at night with a friend or family member. Do it over and over again. I will get easier the more you do it, you have to force yourself.

Well it depends on why you have the fear of driving at night. if it is cause you are night blind, then it is a good fear, but maybe you should see someone about this fear, cause if you needed to get to a hosiptal or something like that with a child that was sick or something then you would need to drive even if it was at night. So i would just make an appointment with a therapist , and work on the fear, you may fine that it may not take long to get over, then again it may. It is different for each person.

I also have this fear of driving at night but my reasons are usually because it is on roads that I am unfamiliar with so I started driving them more often during the day and got use to where the curves were etc... and that seems to have helped. Hope this helps you!

what you have to do is feel the fear and do it anyway! Drive in the places you know really well at first ... and then try driving there at night with someone.... after you do that then go at it alone. And if you start to freak out then just breath deeply through your nose and out through your mouth and just tell yourself it's okay... and don't get discouraged if you have to turn around and have to go back home.... just try it again the next night. Trust me girl... i use to have severe anxiety attacks while driving , and the only thing that helped was to feel the fear... because thats all it is... is fear... and fear can't kill you.... its the adrealine that freaks you out.

I'm scared to drive at night because there are a lot of drunk drivers out. On my way home from my Boyfreind's place every night I see at least 3. I usually just keep my cell right on me and he waits up for my call to make sure I got home safely.

oractice driving with your eyes closed on a treacherous stretch of road going 50. Once you get used to that, driving at night will be a snap!
