I'm looking for evening intermediate French classes.

First: Have you asked at your job if they can get you a class? If you work in an office or in a place that it makes sense that you could use better French...Companies have to spend a % of their benefits in 'educating' their employees, usually they will accept to pay for language classes...
Second: You can find these classes in all Universities in Montreal, but it will cost you around $200- $300 for a semester. Pick any Universities if your employer can pay for your class that would be the best place.
Your best choice 'on a budget' is to go with the city of Montreal, they offer many courses of various activities, and language classes are one of them.
I don't know in what neighborhood you are located, but if you look at this link go to 'Langue - Français' and pick you borough, it will give their activity's Flyer just look for French classes in them...the prices starts from $25 for a semester!
