I have serious pain on my rt side and it tingles and burns what could this be?

it is uncomfortable to sleep on my rt side and also it is agonizing at times ( very)!!!

Take it from me, I'm sitting here answering your question with my wife across the room in a neck brace. Too many family Physicians misdiagnosed these symptoms for tendinitis or muscle strains. There are two possible problems you may have,,first have your sugar tested for diabetes as many go too long without a blood test and burning sensations have been associated with diabetes especially if it runs in the family. Second, see a specialist and i don't mean a chiropractor, as they may hurt you with their cracking and twisting of your joints. I strongly suggest a neurologist. A neurologist will do tests in the office to check for nerve responses and also send you for a High resolution MRI. My gal just had neck surgery, 5 vertebra's fused together because of degenerative disc disease. Most of us get this with age and a lot of times we're not talking old age.If this is the case your experiencing pinched nerves. An anti-inflammatory along with a non narcotic pain reliever with help with the pain. Sometimes they will recommend a narcotic if it is serious enough and needs future medical attention.
