I read some where that our ears aren't alligned one is higher than the other. Is it true?

It's true. Without this slight misalignment the quality of stereoscopic vision would be greatly diminished and we would also have a great deal of trouble locating the source of a sound.

This is so totally unscientific, but yes, when I was a nurse in an ear, nose and throat doctors office, I noticed that most peoples ears are not evenly aligned. I didn't do measurements or anything and I can't speak to whether or not everyone's ears are not aligned, but many, if not most aren't even.

This is hard, but you can try it. Shut as door to the point where it touches your ears on both sides. Put a mark on the dor above and below your ear, and on the frame above and below your ear...now take a yardstick and see if it's level...

when i had my ears pierced, my doc measured from the bottom of the lobe up and that is where he put the holes. but when i wear dangling earrings, one hangs down lower than the other, so i figured my ears arent on straight lol

yeah...on most people. Our eyes aren't perfectly semetrical either.
