Keep in mind that I don't have a lot of money. No bars. I don't have that many friends who can introduce me to people. I'm kind of all alone and introverted, but I want to get out and start meeting people and making friends and hopefully meet the man of my dreams some day. I'm just having a hard time getting started. Oh, I'm also on medical disability so I can't get a job right now. It's temporary disabiltiy so it's not forever, but right now, working is out. I was thinking about volunteering a few hours a week at either a hospital or the humane association. I don't have a lot of money to take random classes or go to school. I just don't know where to start! I'm really shy, too which doesn't help me.

Volunteering is a great start! Check out your local community center or churches for activities with little or no cost.....even picking up garbage as a group is going to "get you out there". Joining in on any volunteering organization is also a great way to overcome your shyness.....there's a job to be done so you'll be forced to speak up and ask questions....and eventually become comfortable around the other volunteers. Keep chipping away at it, you're making the right choices! Crossing my fingers for ya!

Well I was recently single, and let me tell you that online dating sites suck if you have an I.Q. of 90 or more, trust me. Anyways, there are a lot of guys out there that are thinking the same thing. ANYWHERE you go, you'll see men that are single. You just have to be comfortable with yourself to talk to them, don't let it be the case where you have to let them come to you, if you see a potential guy, go talk to him.
