My divorce is almost done and I know who I want to date. I dont want him to wind up being a rebound though. Should I find someone else first?

Yeah, that makes sense. Go out with guys you DON'T want to date, when you have someone in mind you WANT to date.

Go out with him. You'll have a ball. Rebound relationships are not a given. It happens all the time that the "next" person is a long-term relationship. Give it a shot.

Because you stated this situation the way you have stated it, it shows you play games with people's heads. Cut this stuff out immediately. Feelings are not mean to be dealt with so cavalierly..

Some rebounding works, but I sense you have to grow up first. Stop being so selfish, your main attitude. Volunteer and learn that life is not about fulfilling all your desires.

If you go for the re bounder and pull emotional stunts, he'll drop you like a ht potato.

There is a reason you have divorced and don't blame
him. It's you, a Lot~

No, unless you only want a rebound relationship. Think it through before you find him or someone else. Know what you want.

Wow, good question! I would just take it very, very slow. I wouldn't find someone else first, because you will inevitably hurt the one you're using.

NO! Good grief, get divorced before you move on to your next victim.

no because if you are with someone else he may see you as trashy, why not be honest with this guy? let him know you are interested but need to take it slow so no one gets hurt
