My bathroom is really small and over the past few weeks, mold has been growing right above my shower ceiling from the steam from the shower. How serious is this? And if I ust a cleaning product to get rid of it, does that mean it is completely gone? Thanks.

dont even bother calling a professional, i had it in my bathroom since theres no windows or anything to allow it vent, all u need is some bleach itll kill the mold within a couple hours, i did that and it never came back, if ur bathrooom doesnt have a window in it turn the fan on when ur done having a shower and maybe leave the door open, so the moisture doesnt just sit in there

In any big supermarket you can buy a spray to kill the mould, you'll need to do it a few times. Once you've done that you should let the shower room dry out completely and repaint the ceiling with a specialist bathroom paint. The grout can be removed with a simple tool available from good DIY stores, and then regrouted. Leave to dry before you reuse.
