I have a single layer DVD burner and have been trying to get it to copy my DVD collection for back up. I used DVD shrink and it gets to the last 15% and says burning failed... how do I do it?

To bypass copy protection for the sole purpose of backing up a DVD you own, to use on your computer, say, when on the road so you don't have to carry the DVD's with you, you can use a program called AnyDVD by Slysoft.

You should look elsewhere. Today, it is NOT legal to make copies of DVDs and the Fair Use laws are ungoing challenge all the time.

For some background on the topic, look in Google or similiar on "DVD copying" and you may find another tool or better for your machine.
