Actually both real and artificial sugars are food for mouth bacteria that cause bad breathe.
If you want longer lasting clean mouth try Biotene mouthwash (WalMart and Target sell it for $5), they have a toothpaste too. They use enzymes that your mouth produces naturally that are very effective at killing those bacteria.
Mints merely cover up the bad breathe, not fix it.

well..i can't say the longest...but parsley works, and so does peppermint. Gum has sugar (sugar-free gum still has something thats not good for you)...mints...hmm, ever pick something natural?

I tried the new Crest Pro Health mouth rinse & it really does work for 12hrs. The best I have tried so far, even better than Listerine.
