~Wow! What an awesome way to ask recognizing that we all
have our own unique relationship with Jesus~~And yes~~He is
that personal~~He has nothing but love and forgiveness waiting for those who will accept Him on His terms.~~
He wants so much for all of us~~You know~ WE ALL LOVE OUR SIN WHEN WERE IN IT~~But then we come crashing down with all these emotions~~loneliness~~insecurity~...
~And (myself include) think that there must be some worldly tangible physical touching thing( whether expensive WHATEVERS ~Or a person, or a relationship~~) out there
~~ ~~Then when we have it ~~Its eventually not enough~~
or not exactly the way we pictured it~so, it loses our interest~
~~The spark eventually fades~~This is why I have come to realize that there is nothing else that completes me more than Jesus~~Composed of all levels of understanding~~unending amount of acceptance~~and even though I ( even with my best effort) will let Him down~~He will never forsake me!
~~Whether I am angry, or afraid, or intimidated, or my courage is shaken~~He can replenish all that & more~~All I have to do is
~ask, and believe~~seeking His will over my own~~
~~Trusting, as you would a father, (a perfect Heavenly Father)
~~That He's got my back~~Constantly~
~It is only me that pulls away from Him when I choose Sin
instead of what my Heavenly Father knows to be best.~~ ~~

Jesus is the son of God promised in the old testament of the Hebrew Bible. To me he is not God, but is his holy son. To me, it's like God kept telling us and telling us over and over how to do things, what not to do, having us make sacrifices of valuable items (food, money) to do penance. After a while God even sent written instructions (the ten commandments). Despite all His instructions, begging, pleading, and punishing I think He got tired of us not "getting it" so He sent His son (Jesus) to "show" us how to live, and to be the final repayment for wrongs done (sins).
Kind of like, if you're trying to find your way to a really remote resort way out in the middle of nowhere...ok? (Us looking for happiness and eventually Heaven) Well, every once in a while you pass a car and see someone and ask directions, which they give you (Prophets giving instructions from God). You even stop once and someone draws you out a map (Ten Commandments)...but you still aren't sure and you're still lost (maybe a little, maybe reallllyyyy lost). Finally you pull into a gas station and ask yet another person for help. This guy says, "Ya, know what, it's too hard to just tell you or draw a map of how to get there. Come on...just follow me, I'll show you how to get there." (Jesus showing me the way....Love God, love people be willing to sacrifice it all).

Jesus to me is God himself. Jesus is the God Man. Fully God and fully man at the same time. A living paradox! Jesus is God in the flesh that gave his sinless life for mine on the cross so that if I believe in him I will have everlasting life with the Father in Heaven. Jesus is the son of God sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for all those that do believe in him.
That is who Jesus is to me, that is what the Word of God says he is.
Matt

A point in time.
When humans started to fight for individual rights.
He sacrificed himself to say, stop killing your fellow humans and instead start seeing them with empathy.
