My family wanted to go out somewhere but I don't really know any good places to visit. I live in Bakersfield, CA so if you guys can tell me any good places to visit but I don't want anything that is like 10 hours long I want something pretty close to Bakersfield CA. So can anyone find a nice place. Thanks a lot.

I would highly recommend the Getty Museum.
People come from all around the world to see this museum.

"properly-known" and "unknown" are very subjective. How am I meant to appreciate what you communicate "properly-known"? To me, Crystal Cove is properly properly-known. a minimum of among locals. we do not have eye-catching small villages everywhere. a minimum of not for a century or so. this is all one good mass of city and suburban sprawl. Solvane is cute sufficient, whether this is relatively critical California. we do not have English gardens right here, simply by fact we've a thoroughly distinctive climate. places like Descanso Gardens in simple terms exist simply by fact of irrigation. in case you do not strategies wasteland, Calico is approximately as small a village as you will discover.

I think I would just take them to Santa Barbara or Ventura if you are coming from Bakersfield...

Disneyland rocks! California adventure is not as "theme park-y" but still fun. It's pretty low key. Both cost an arm and a leg.

los angles fashon district san pedro and 9th street 6am saturday morning it's were all the clothes are made and sold wholesale most are 3 for 10 dollars no sales tax cash only so much fun if you love to shop closed by 11.00 am ..cash only..
