I don't care if your black, white, red or purple. We all get dry skin!! I love Aquaphor. It is kind of like Vaseline, but better. I put it on in the shower as soon as I am finished washing my face (just a dab will work). I let it sit for a few minutes while washing the rest of my body, then rinse my face with warm water. Sometimes I dry my face a little rough with the towel afterwords to help exfoliate it.

Get a good lotion ( any will do really) and as soon as you are done in the shower; instead of wiping yourself dry, pat the water off lightly off your face and lotion your body immediately ( that way you lock the water and hydration on your skin).
May I suggest Nivea lotion; Jergens ( for dry skin) and Keri (is very, very good)...
There is also a lotion made by St. Ives that actually has mini blue water-particles in there that when applied to your body- adds the water portion to your dry skin...

Looks like you have dry skin. Do you make sure you rinse all the soap off our face? Soap can dry out your skin. Buy one of these pads that has some soft scratchy strings on it and gently rub your face with that and rinse. Then, put some face lotion on. See if that helps.

you need to get on a skin care program. If you know anyone who sells Marykay, they have a great skin care program, cleanser and Moisturizer. That will clean your face without over drying it. I am currently using the timewise by Marykay which works great
