The LT is an idiot. Look at when he joined. Why in the world would he have joined when he did knowing very well that it would require him to end up in Iraq. The truth is that he is a coward. I've seen other guys like him that think they are all gung-ho until reality sets in and they turn chicken. At least those either washed out of ROTC or sucked it up and did their duty.
He has no grounds about this war being illegal. This war is more legal than anything the USA has done since Korea. He has refused a lawful order and will pay a price.

first Mr. Watada is a Coward. I didn't want to go to Vietnam as a 18 rear old but that was what I was trained for so I did. If Mr Watada felt that way why did he allow the government to spend the thousands of dollars training him. Remember we only have a ALL volunteer military. He came to them & signed the papers. I find it a little odd that all of a sudden he has a problem with the war about the time they were going to deploy him.He deserves a court martial , prison, & a dishonerable discharge. He knew when he signed the inlistment paper he was going to war. No where did it say he could pick & choose where or when he would serve.

via fact they're too stupid to realize that Bush used 9-11 as an excuse to proceed the Iraq conflict even however one has no longer something to do with the different in basic terms as he will attempt to apply 9-11 or the so-stated as conflict on terrorism as an excuse to invade Iran

It's not unpatriotic.
In fact, the US has traditionally been a place in which you can offer your dissent freely and without consequences. It's become very much an intellecutal dictatorship, but freedom of speech and of thought and of association are the foundations of of any democracy.

when you sign the dotted line, you know very well we could end up in war, irregardless of what is going on right now. And it is your duty to now fight for our freedom and do so when called upon, without question.
