They are easy to make. Just make your favorite pancake recipe...mine happens to be Aunt Jemima Buttermilk...since you just add water. The only difference is, instead of 'just adding the water', add cocoa powder and sugar to the water first, to taste. Then add the water to the pancake mix. They are DELISH!! Another variation would be to just make regular pancakes and sprinkle chocolate chips onto the raw side of the individual pancakes while they are on the grill. Once the first side is done, flip it over and the chips will be baked inside. Make sure to use non-stick spray, though. So they don't burn to the pan. Hope this helps!!

INGREDIENTS (40 pieces)
3/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup cocoa
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups
sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter cream frosting

PROCEDURE
(1) Melt the margarine and mix with the cocoa.

(2) In a small bowl, mix flour and salt.

(3) In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs. Then add sugar,
vanilla, and beat well.

(4) Add flour and margarine mixture to this and blend
thoroughly.

(5) Heat skillet to medium low. Drop small clumps (1
Tbsp) and cook like pancakes: about 1 1/2 minutes
on one side, 1/2 minute on the other, then turn
over again and remove after a few seconds.

(6) Freeze. When relatively hard, coat one side with
buttercream frosting.

NOTES
One side of the pancakes may burn. It doesn't particularly
affect the taste, and if you frost this side, no one will
even know.

It's not necessary to cook the pancakes completely; if the
middle looks somewhat gooey, don't fret: it will soon har-
den.

Time: 10 minutes preparation, 30 minutes
to cook, 10 minutes to frost.

Don't know about chocolate pancakes but chocolate chip pancakes are quite a deal.

Make your batter as usual and add about a cup (or more if you like) of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Buttermilk pancakes are especially good with the chocolate chips. But then I might be more than a casual imbiber of the chip.

Do you have a chocolate bar you may cut up? in case you upload cocoa to the batter fairly than chocolate milk powder you will have a extra robust flavor chocolate. with the aid of the way mixture the cocoa into the dry pancake mixture first as cocoa does not dissolve properly in drinks.
