Nothing wrong with a little gift to a boyfriend. How about a couple of tickets to a local sports event or show and then you can enjoy it too!

speaking as a 17 year old boy...DON'T get cash or gift cards or flowers or chocolates (cash and gift cards are impersonal, flowers and chocolates mean much more to girls than guys)
cologne is a very good idea, also if you aren't sexually involved then at least give him a kiss on the lips! it depends on how long you've been going out, if you guys are close then you could just make out with him (unless you've done that before...), but if you guys haven't ever kissed then a kiss on the lips would rock his world.

Well I am a 17 year old boy. Well I like sports, so if your boyfriend likes sports you probably should give him a new baseball cap and some good chocolate candy and lots of kisses on the lip. I would be happy with that.

perhaps get him a teddy undergo, a card, and some chocolate. The teddy undergo might want to be girly yet its great lovable and he will like it and understand you savor and love him. also he can practice his freinds his staggering girlfreind because maximum women dont do something for his or her adult men on valentines day. you may also suprise him in some red or red undies, he will imagine it truly is horny lol wish i hepled

Cologne is a good present. Make him dinner, give a massage, plan a romantic movie. Have fun with getting ideas. Don't think so much about it.

seriously, maybe a watch or cologne, or you can just ask him what he wants. What are his hobbies ex. If he's a gamer get him a video game or tickets to his favorite bands show (if their comming to your town soon)
