I'm trying to find somewhere where I can buy a really low-to-the-ground couch. Not quite on the floor but about 8" to about 1.5 feet off the ground. And I mean that is hight is where the cushions are, not the bottom of the couch. I just need one where i can sit really low. And a low table would be nice to but that's less important.

Yeah, I just looked at some futons and they are perfect! I don't know why I didn't think of that. But still if anyone finds some sofas let me know.

How about a nice futon. They are low and serve as a bed for overnight quests also. They come in different kinds of wood and also metal.

I'm thinking that the best thing to do would be to find a used couch that you like the style and comfort of and cut the legs off to the size you want and put some 'leg bottoms' on it.
The 'leg bottom' thingies are the plastic or rubber ones that you can get at a HomeDepot or some place like that.
You can be crafty enough to tackle that...or have a neighbor or friend help you.
It will be worth it in the end...and you will be a happy camper! ~wink~

A lot of sofas come with legs that have to be put on once you get the sofa home. You could look into finding some shorter legs to put on the bottom of the couch. This would allow you to look at more sofas and just modify them to suit your needs.
