My major is Languages. Because I was brought to another country after learning two languages on my mother's knee before I was four years old, forced to learn English, French, and Latin. I was lucky to have three older sisters who taught me the adventures of reading Tom Sawyer and Huck before I started school at age six! I read hundreds of comic books in Dutch, English, French, and Friesian. Now don't tell me you don't know what Friesian is. Think of the cow that gives you milk every day!

I entered college at age 22, three months after my mother died. My major was called Secretarial Science. It's a fancy name for typist. I took that as my major because I had a 5 year old son to take care of. I left after one year, because we were going to lose our apartment, I had to work.

If your parents are paying, go stay 4 years, 6 if you can and get a degree in something that you can make money and not just dregs of existing.
