Because any TRUE born again Christian knows that they're saved by God's grace and God has promised them eternal life when we die. Jews don't live according to the New Testament because they don't believe Christ came - they're still waiting for His first coming. Truth is, Christ already came, but will return for the last and final time to judge the earth and destroy those that are defiant against Him-those that aren't saved. Muslims worship a moon god - Allah, which is a false god; an idol. God said, "I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me".

It is God's promise to those who are saved by God's mercy and grace, who know Christ as their Lord and Savior, that we shall receive everlasting life.

It does not matter what a person calls themselves - as long as they believe there is but one God and his Son, Jesus - for through Jesus (as mediator) can a man hope to be saved.

As for heaven - I have not read any scripture in the Bible about Christians going to heaven specifically, when the die. Certainly someone who is saved (through believe in Jesus as Son of God, and God as his Father) does not go to hell.

And lastly - the god of the Muslims is claimed by Muslims to be the same God of the Jews and Christians. However, if the god of the Muslims holds values different than the Jewish and Christian God - then clearly, the god of the Muslims is not the same.

The god of the Muslims requires men to deny Jesus as the Son of God, denies that Jews were/are God's special people (real -not pretend- Christians are adopted Jews by the way). The Muslim God calls the God of the Torah and the New Testament a liar in that Isaac was the son of promise - they say Ishmael was the son of promise and he was the one offered as sacrifice. Again - I state - the god of the Muslims can not be the same God as the Jews and true Christians.

Patrone7 is correct about the way to get into heaven.
This may sound picky but this question comes up often because of a small little word, IN.
People believe IN God but then they do not simply just Believe God at his word.
If you believe God is who he says he is, then you will know the answer to your question. Believe who God says Jesus is. Read John. God is exactly who he says he is as recorded in the Bible. Jews, Muslims and all other religions do not believe God sent his Son Jesus Christ. Therefore they either do not believe the same God as a Christian OR they doubt God has done what he says he has already done.

Not all believe in the same God, you are mistake. Muslims believe in God the Father, but they consider Christ as only a prophet. Jewish beliefs are in God the Father, however they still believe that the Messiah has yet to come into this world. Christianity believes in God the Father (The Old Testament) we also believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah (The New Testament). God Himself says that salvation comes only by faith in Jesus Christ and picking up your cross and following Him.Study more and then God Himself will reveal these answers to you.

Muslims don't believe in the same God. Period. (They'd deny that it's the same God too)

Jews believed in the true God up until they couldn't realize that Jesus WAS God. God gave them an easy way out and many of the Jews didn't take it because they couldn't see what was right there in front of their eyes. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". The most clear way of interpreting this statement is that the only way to get into heaven is to follow Jesus, thus making the Hebrew religion worthless at that very time because they failed to recognize God for who he is.

Jews refuse to believe that which was revealed to them, so in essence it is the same God, but they're missing the biggest part of it.

*note: many Jews DID follow Jesus, and people from other countries did as well. Anyone who asks Jesus to be their personal savior and ruler will be saved.

They don't all belive in the same God.
Christians belive in the triune God; Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Jews and Muslims do not.
Christians believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, again, Jews and Muslims do not.
Christians believe that forgivenees of sins is contingent upon believing that Jesus is God. That is what the Bible says, and IF it is true, then ONLY Christians will be forgiven of their sins, and therefore, go to heaven.

Rev Kip - The moon God, WTF? and also you're a religious chief? Explains plenty about the attitude of an excellent type of Christians accessible... *Shakes Head* Do you no longer comprehend that Muslims (and many Jews) hint the origins of Islam lower back to the first toddler of Abraham, who God also stated might want to the be the daddy of an staggering human beings? So do you carry it adverse to Jesus that his father and mom weren't christian? on account that Mohammed depending the religion, for sure he become born right into a diverse one. and those loopy reference you made about the pagan daughters he allegedly worshiped, you want to benefit somewhat more effective. Mohommed honestly denouced all scripture with regards to them as "The Satanic Verses" and stated such ideals had no position in a monotheistic relgion. anyhow, on to answering the question. keep in options, I communicate of the wider Christian attitude, and by no ability the extremely faith itself which preaches tolerance of others... Christianity has never loved different religions. to comprise Judaism. every person remember the Inquisition? Or the very shown reality that Pope John Paul II admitted that the church bore some duty for the holocaust because of it truly is intolerence of Jews? Ever heard the age previous tale that we use the blood of a christian chance free to make our passover matzah? Christians pick to piggy lower back off of our faith so as that they have got a love hate courting with us, yet ordinary won't be able to denounce us because they did borrow our God and by no ability any incorrect way round. The instantly out hate for Muslims comes from the very shown reality that even as Jews basically favor to get with this methodology, Islam become shaped after the shortcoming of life and hoopla of Jesus. we do not pick to grandfather clause him in, yet they outright rejected him. Oh, that and Christians seem an intollerant lot because it really is (a lot to Jesus's chagrin, i'm particular).

Um. Muslims and Jews don't believe the Greek Bible is the word of God, and that is the only thing that makes the claim. If you don't think the Greek Bible is true, there's no reason to think only Christians get to heaven.

I'll make the assumption that you have not studied the beleifs of any one of these before, but in passing.

Christians and Jews (in the religious sense of the word) beleive in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Adonai, Alpha & Omega, and many other names, for God can not be accurately described by only one. Or even by one thousand.

Muslims do NOT beleive in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Christians recognize that Christ Jesus is and was the Son of God, and that he died for us so that we may know Him. Not so that we could have 'fire insurance'.

Many Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Almighty, but as a good man or a prophet, or other variations.

The Muslim faith is not of the same god. End of story.

They share Abraham. But thats about all. Because of Abraham, everyone else thinks that their God is the same God, Allah is Allah and the Jews have YHWY and Christians have God.
