Jesus, do NOT try to loose 20 pounds if you're 13 and weigh 85 now. Puberty is hard enough on the body without you going and messing it up. For the love of God, NO 13 year old should weigh 65 lbs unless they are like...sheesh, 3 feet tall.
I repeat, DO NOT try to loose weight. That would indeed be BAD.

if you are 13 and you weigh 85 lbs you do not need to loose 20 lbs. Third graders weigh more than 65 lbs, you will be so unhealthy if you were that weight. If you really think that you need to loose weight, talk to your doctor and he or she will tell you what weight is best for your age and height.

YES, I belive that is wrong. Im 97 pounds and I would hate to lose 20 pounds, thats sick and wrong. You shouldnt do your body like that. Your already underweight for your age.

At your age you should get out of the "bad self image" way of thinking. If you are concerned with your weight, don't be. When you are in plus size clothing, that's when your weight requires attention. The most important part of maintaining a healthy weight and body is by making healthy eating choices. Alot of young girls are to focused on being pencil thin, it looks nasty. The real focus shouldn't just be on how you look, but how healthy you keep your body. Damage is done to the body when health is neglected for a "self image". Love yourself and take care of your body, inside and out.

85 pounds!!!?!??! Wow.. I'm the same age as you and I weigh like 110pounds. You really don't need lose anymore weight. If you really want to lose weight, take yoga lessons.. or just rent a yoga video.

How tall are you? Google "Body Mass Index" to see what the range is for normal weight for your height ~ I seriously doubt that 65 pounds is healthy for your height since you are 13.

youre being ridiculous. you most likely just want someone to say youre skinny. its so sad. you look in the mirror, YOU KNOW you are not fat. 65 pounds is ridiculous. DO YOU WANT BOOBS? You can seriously damage your growth if you lose weight. 85 is not a healthy weight. You need to make sure youre eating. You can delay your menses and possibly never be able to have kids if you starve yourself. My recommendation is to see a doctor about your low self esteem and get to a therapist to talk out your problems before you seriously harm yourself

85 pounds is good for 13. you are two young to worry about losing wieght, especially at 85 pounds, you could seriously hurt yourself by doing that, please don't.
