I only have 512mb of ram to work with and so media player and media center will not work for movies

it's free
and it only requires 128MB RAM
the website states that it supports up to XP
But that does not mean that it won't work w/ Vista so why not give it a shot

Your current player probably skips on you hugh...Try using Media Player Classic..it worked alot better with my DVD's on my laptop...Alot better and more clearer...do a yahoo search for it...Satsuki Decoder Pack...it has the codecs and after you install it maybe your windows media player will work..mine did...hope this was helpful..

Try this, not sure if it will work, it is the only one that works for me. I am runing Windows XP Pro X64.
