2 months ago, i met this girl who rocked my world. she is everything you could ever want and more. she liked me too, somewhat but was scared bc i was moving away (as i just graduated college and am going back home 500 miles away). so now she is dating someone else. and i am also trying to date other people, trouble is i can't forget her. i keep thinking about how my life would be with her, there is like something missing. i just graduated and always thought i'd be glad for that but now all i want is to go back in time. i can't tell her how i feel bc that would be unfair to her. she wrote to me recently that she has gotten over her guilt (i think for liking me while dating someone else but it could be for hurting mean) and that she is open to whatever i want to write but i don't know what this means. i am the most clean-cut, well-behaved kid but all i want to do is disappear into drugs or something, just to forget. what should i do??

Drugs are never the answer. Don't do that! ;) Seriously, if she's still into you (and it sounds like she is) and she actually felt guilty for dating other people after you guys stopped dating, you've got a really good chance here. The big thing is, you're going to have to ask yourself if you really want a life with her and if you're willing to make a move to be with her. If you feel like something is missing in your life without her, write her back and go visit her. When you see her, you'll know if the feelings are real or not and you can go from there. At the very least, give her a call and tell her what you're thinking. She could very well be thinking the same thing and just doesn't want to mess up your life plan. It's risky but if it works out, you'll be glad you took the chance. Good luck!

This was only two months of your life. Is it really worth recking everything that you have worked hard to achieve? She may seem like the only girl out there for you and that is o.k. Life is a gift that is meant to be enjoyed not thrown away. Find something other than drugs that you like and spend some time doing it. You will see that things will get better real soon believe me. Twenty years ago I felt the same way that you do now and I thought that the man that moved away was the man of my dreams. You know what? Two years later, I found my soul mate and we have been happily married for ten years. Hold on and don't let this get you down although it does not seem like it, there is always light at the end of a dark tunnel. You have choices, make the right one. Live for you today and everything else will fall into place.

If you truly love her, write to her in detail and explain your feeling; then wait for her response. Better yet, ask her if you can meet and talk to her one more time. If she doesn't care for you anymore, then move on. I know it hurts, but you're still young and you will find love again.

Why do you want to throw your life away on some drugs? Think about all the hard work and the time you spent in college to get where you are now. How would your parents feel?

Don't be by yourself - hang out with friends. Keep busy - do some volunteer work. It will help you ease the pain.

Find God and find peace. Hug.

You sound heartbroken. Is this your first real love? It's never easy to end a relationship but try to remember that you are young and have your whole life ahead of you.

Do you think she loves you? If you believe that then I'd say try. Otherwise it will hurt, but with time you'll feel better. Please don't turn to drugs. There's no escaping your feelings. You have to feel them to move on.

Well write to her & tell her how you feel. At this point what do you have to lose? She must of been thinking of you greatly to write to you. So she was thinking ,you were thinking, so two great minds go together. TC
