Yes, I am "young" at heart! I love to chide with kids and tease them and just talk to them sometimes At work I like to play jokes on my friends and make them laugh and they do the same with me. I love humor and silliness at the right place and time. I do get enthused about things that happen to me and others.
What you are talking about is not really being immature. More so, it is being jolly and cheerful, having fun! Showing and experiencing enthusiasm is one of life's great joys, so go ahead and be yourself.
Immaturity is to sulk if you don't get your way. Throw a tantrum if something doesn't turn out right the way you want it. Selfishness is immaturity and so is self-centeredness, greedy, always be in the spotlight, thinking the world evolves around you. Immaturity is not being able to share and let others shine. I could go on and on, but you see the difference.

There is a big difference between begin childish (immature) and being childlike (honoring the child within).
There is a fine line and you need to keep it in check. People who lose that childlike mindset lose a great deal.

We all tend to be children at heart and its OK....but when an adult continues to act immature than this is not normal.....an adult needs to show a child how to act in certain situations and if the adult is showing the child these ways and acting immature than it can be very harmful to the child ...children look up to adults and adults need to act like adults and crossing that line is not good...if this is your child put a stop to it now..if its family speak up friends say it but be gentle.. good luck you will succeed bless you luv kara

I am 74 years old but yes I am and I'm not in my "second childhood". It is not a question of maturity. Every child longs for and dreams of growing up but then when they get there it sometimes does not seem to be as great as they thought. This longing for maturity (to be as big, powerful or wise as Dad or Mom) is partly what drives young people but when you get there you soon find out there is a certain wisdom in children. For one thing they are the happiest people on earth! Why?
Because they have so much to look forward to and all the world is a miracle to be explored and understood! Their God given curiosity about life and the world, unless stifled, is their most beautiful asset. If you retain it to old age you can remain happy and enthusiastic because you know there will never be and end to discovering the cause and enjoying the beauty of life's miracles.
If you are a Christian remember Christ said of children "...of such is the Kingdom of God!"

yes sometimes i am , that way i can remember how it was to be a child and how you should treat a child, cause childern don't always understand everything that adults are saying. Plus they have a different point of view when they look at the world, so it is good to be a child at heart, but it is also good to remember to be an adult too, so you can help the child of the world to not be harmed or go hungry, or get hurt, or anything bad.

Sometimes.
It can if you let it. You need to know when too much is too much. Ex. Your 30, running down the street wearing a Ninja Turtle t-shirt singing Zippe do da. <--Bad Watching the occasional Disney Movie. <--Good
If your immaturity keeps you from learning not to take candy from strangers.
Drink the juice ipecac. It doesn't taste to bad. You should notice the effects immediately. They only last about 30 min, but you won't want to do anything immature kiddy things during that time. Afterwards you'll return to normal but hey, you can just drink it again.

It depends, how old is the person? If it's an 80 year old grandfather who enjoys being with his grandchildren that's wonderful! If it's a 45 year old man who only likes to be around children - that can be a problem.

I am for sure a kid at heart. I think there is a time and place for immaturity, if you are home with family and feel a little silly...cut loose...be silly!!! I think silly is good for soul, just like laughter.
