The last year for the Montana was 2006. They don't make it anymore and GM won't be making any more after 2007. The top 2 vans are Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna. I see them all over the place.

the two top recommended minivans are the toyota sienna and the honda odyssey.
this is a very useful sight when considering a vehicle (new or used) purchase:
www.edmunds.com
it has not only reviews but message boards for just about any make and model, and you can read about the experiences of owners not just 1st, drive it off the lot impressions but how they hold up and perform over time.

We got a Dodge Caravan about 1 year ago (boy is it different from my cute sports car...oh well I'm a mommy now...lol) I just love it for the space and convenience but it does eat gas like crazy. They also tend to have transmission problems. My brother got the Honda Odysee and he just loves it, never any problems and pretty good on gas and they drive it everywhere.
Welcome to the club!

I have a '04 Toyota Sienna Limited and it has been amazing!!! We've had absolutely no problems with it and it has been super convenient. Consumer Reports gives it top ratings. It also gets an average of 26 MILES PER GALLON! Yes, it's awesome.

I drive a 2000 silver Dodge Caravan. I absolutely love it!!!! I put a dvd player in the back for my girls. It's great when we go on trips. Sing songs, they'll dance around, and when they get tired, I turn the dvd player on.
