Well none knows the truths about the thing going on between you and him. If they talk like that, then just ignore it, maybe they jealous or feeling to pull you down. Well, if you are also just dating him for his looks, of course looks is also considered a major factor then secondarily only goes the character etc... But these days, dont just trust the guys. They will all pretend to be good character, but ultimately once they get ya, they will prove their own true self, but then it will be too late for ya. Just a warning sista, play safe!

U can't satisfy the whole world, friend included. U need to take charge. In a romantic relationship, there can be only two people; you and him. The others are all outsiders. Think about why you like him and then take it from there on.
