why is it that when we fall in love or have a crush on someone we end up doing really silly things? At the start of course.

This is an interesting question. Because you both are so in love with each other, both of you are so engrossed in the fact you are with the other that you both get caught up. It seems right to do all the things we would normally think wrong. I think many people have experienced this, as i have myself. Remember to keep your head up and not in the clouds so much, and it will help you. If your partner goes overboard, make sure to talk to them and make sure they keep their head in normality, and not too much in the clouds either.

Sounds like you did something crazy. I don't know, I still do silly things for the girl I love, like last weekend I helped her vacuum her dad's houses that are for sale, which was like three mansions which took all day, so I'm clearly not the person to be answering this question.

This happens because we normally use a balance of emotion and intelligence to choose our actions. In a case like this when one falls in love, emotion often takes over and we neglect to check within ourselves to see if our decisions are intelligent, like most people normally do, and our actions can be illogical as a result, at first. Gradually we usually get our emotions back in check as the relationship proceeds.

because we like the person so much that we dont know how to act when we are around them. Lots of people act differently around the ones we have a crush on.

You have a damn good point there! I'm normally very down to earth but since taking up with my girlfriend I've become a complete tw@ who fluffs up all the time.

Because we are so in love that we are not able to think!
We are in delirium, we feel like somone put a little spell on us and sometimes we can't recognize ourselves. We act impulsively... we rae blind.. and we do silly things.

hormones are running through you system.
your trying to impress someone and make them laugh that's y when you have impressed them you become comfortable with them you can be yourself.
