Based on what i see there...I would go with the zone pilates, because that looks like it could be fun, and help tone. Other than that, any one of the large inflatable fitness balls, because u can do a lot with those. Those are things u can do without heavy duty equipment, and that use your own body weight for resistance and are versatile. And to agree with what was stated before...it's true. There is no better cardio than using your own two feet and going for a run or brisk walk. I believe that is the quickest way to shedding pounds...you just have to make the time and commitment. GOOD LUCK!

Well, I didn't visit the website because I know from being a personal trainer that the best machines for getting a good cardio workout are the treadmill and the stairmaster, or any of the 'dual motion' machines in which you step with your feet and also move your arms. And since you say you can't afford a treadmill than you cannot afford the others either. So I would suggest forgetting about equipment and simply beginning a walking or jogging routine. OR: is there a local gym near you? To join one you wouldn't have to pay alot up front, but maybe you could afford the $25 or so a month they usally charge? This way, you would have access to many different machines nad your workouts wouldn't become monotonous.

I'd recommend a recumbent exercise bike. They can be had for $100 and up, which is generally within reach for almost anyone. Some have counters that tell you how many miles you have gone; some even include a calories-burned meter:P. It has a low impact on your joints, making it neck-in-neck with swimming for a great method. Its also easy to go at it for an hour or more a day while listening to music or watching TV, which helps it along. Give it a look.

Honeslty WALK!- there have been many studies that show women who walk 2 miles or more a day lose the most amount of weight and KEEP it off! OVer the summer i paired a diet and walking 2miles everyday (which is approx 10,000 steps get a pedometer to help it doesnt have to be all at once) i ended up losing almost 20lbs!

Good Luck and Remember the Best Thing to do is don't give up!!

The most effective piece of equipment is the "elliptical cross trainer", it burns more calories per minute than any other machine.
