i have medium- dark brown hair and i want a change. i know i would look horrible with blonde hair and black really isnt my thing.
what should i do thats not so drastic that my mom would disown me?

Highlights and Lowlights are the best way to go for a gentle look thats noticeable but not too drastic. You might want some medium blonde higlights and carmel highlights as well as some lowlights. It'll soften up your color but you don't have to go way lighter or darker.

You can do some highlights a little lighter than your natural color or you can do some low lights with some red, that would be really pretty and not too drastic.

Why not use something like Casting or herbal Essences. If you go one opr two shades lighter or darker it may be enough of a change for you. Why not try a little reddish brown?

Im trying to make it darker [if i can]
i dont want it black but somewhere in between dark brown and black..i dont know if you want to do the same..but im going to try it...i hope it looks good!

why dont u put highlights in ur hair like red highlights. maybe u can just color ur ends to. i suggest red are even a lighter brown

maybe like a redish burnette hair or a really light brown maybe you have to see it to actually know what color so i think you should take a chance and try both it wont hurt
