I was a member at a Curves in Kansas, and then I moved back home to Iowa.

I LOVED the Curves in Kansas, although, I never saw results. The employees kept talking to us, and they kept our minds off of working out. I liked it so much, I applied to work there.

When I had to move back home, I transferred to a location in Iowa. I absolutely hated it. They couldn't have cared less that I was there. No one talked to me. It was always cold (cinderblock building). The machines weren't in good shape. Bleh.

So, I quit.

I was also HIGHLY discouraged at both locations from working out more than three times a week. That really angered me because I felt like I needed to workout more to get results, and since it was my money, I felt like I should get to come in whenever I wanted. But they insisted that it would be too much for me.

I liked it at first because I got to spend time with my friends that went but after about two weeks I got board. I didn't feel like I was getting a work out and felt like I needed more of a challenge. Plus that going around and around in a circle for thirty minutes stinks. I felt like I was going nowhere. So after two months of barely going I just quit and joined a real gym. I do recommend it, if you have a group of friends that are committed to it because without them it can get really boring.

yes it does. my friend needs to get her operation done by the end of this month and needed to loose her weight. She joined Curves as she was given a one month free membership as chrissy present. She has already lost 4 inches on the waist.

I LIKED IT, GOT ME TO GO EXERCISE 3 TIMES A WEEK. YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT. CAN GO AT YOUR OWN SPEED. SO IS GOOD FOR ALL AGES. SOME CURVES ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS, JUST DEPENDS ON THE OWNER.

I liked it at first, but it got old really fast. I can't do the same thing over and over again, it gets boring to me.
