Something that actually works (since i had to reboot my computer and lost the old versions!) and won't install adware & spyware? Something easy to use for someone who doesn't know much computer lingo (ahem...me)

Frostwire is pretty cool .. just like limewire without the excess baggage.

Bearshare is really good but if you want to transfer your downloaded songs to a device w/out paying a fee (like with limewire/free) then try Ares

They won't install spyware, only you will if you download the wrong things.

Bearshare is what I use. Never had a problem with it and have downloaded tons with it.
