I am sorry for your grief.
The Bible is quite clear on the afterlife.
God simply states that there is a great chasm fixed between the saved and unsaved. So that one side cannot cross over to the other side. Your friend cannot see you, anymore than you can see her. However our consciousness lives on, even after death. i suppose this means we still can think in our spiritual form and possibly remember loved ones and friends..etc. However the Bible does not clarify this specifically. The after life will be a wonderful place for those who's names are written in the book of life. For those who's names are not found in this book, the afterlife will be complete misery. Only God knows who truly repented of their sin and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of their life. Many people we don't expect, will meet us in heaven, many we expect to see there, will not be. Gods Peace to you over your loss of your friend.

I do not believe in the ghosts (I believe that ghosts are demons), I do believe that God knows you are having a hard tome, but he speaks in a still small voice and its hard to hear him when he speaks to us all the time, but with all the technology and the hurry up and go, gp, go, and the need for speed and then we are so wrapped up in ourselves (not that your hardtime isn't important) but this all makes it so hard for us to hear the God that loves us and cares about us.

According to the Bible, your friend is in a sleeplike state without dreams. She is conscious of nothing and cannot see anyone or anything. She will regain consciousness after Armegeddon when she is resurrected. There is a good chance that you will be able to be there to meet her when that happens. Are you interested?

I'm not sure, but I'm sorry for your loss. May God bless you, dear, and comfort you. May He take away your sadness and wipe away your tears. Give it time, healing always takes time.

As for the afterlife, I believe that there are different destinations that we have to book here on earth. I, for one, have booked heaven, because I believe in the promises of Jesus. He has done a lot for me, and I'd love to spend eternity with him!

After Jesus' second death, He came back in the flesh to make certain we could understand. Your friend knows of her first death and came out of it with the beliefs that she entered into it with. Just as you do not see her now, she does not see you. Death does not enhance man in any manner, for it is to be overcome with life.

No one knows. I'm sorry, but that's all anyone can say with any degree of honesty. I hope your hopes are right, but no one can possibly know for sure.

I am sorry for your loss. I know very well how much that can hurt.
