Hi,I have a large reddish pus filled acne for the past 1 month, I usually don't have severe acne and besides that one acne, my face is fairly clear, went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and he prescribe Roaccutane for me 10mg twice a day. I understand that in the first weeks the acne might get worst, but for me the acne dries up and becomes painless within 2 weeks, maybe because I faithfully apply Panoxly 10(benzoly peroxide) everyday and now I am acne free, wonder if I should continue buying another box of Roaccutane or I can just stop here? Any advice here? Thanks

I would keep at it. The longer you take it the longer your acne will stay away. You really should see your dermatologist or doctor and get evaluated. Listen to your doctor.

Do not stop - take the full course of the accutane your doctor prescribes. It is an antibiotic medicine and works fighting the bacteria that causes acne. Think about it - when you have strepp throat they tell you to finish the whole bottle even if you feel better - same deal here.

I don't have such a great acne problem as you, but I do use acne treatment. From what I know, acne doesn't stop completely. Constant treatment is needed. I'd say consult your dermatologist since your case is severe.
