What is fair price for papered 15 yr.old geld/for man 65 yrs old?

I would not pay more that $5000 for a 15 year old, especially if you are not going to use itfor competition. For $5000 you should be able to get a bomb proof animal.
If you are just looking for a trail horse I would even say 700 - 1500 would be fair, but the price really depends on the shape of the animal, its training, what you are going to use it for, and what it has accomplished in the past as a show horse.
