I went out with a young woman nearly 3 months ago. Although things went well, she had to back off, as she was just coming off a bad breakup. About 1 month after that, we went out to a few parties and things seemed headed in the right direction and then she seemed to blow me off on a night out with some mutual friends, later passing that off as she claims she felt sick. I was turned off by that incident and backed off the whole thing significantly although I still saw her since we worked in the same office. Nothing really happened for a few weeks, but of late she's been text messaging me on a weekly basis asking how I am, what I'm doing, etc. I'm wondering if she's doing this to try and get things moving again or what?
Bottom line, I've always really liked the girl and I'd love for things to work out but I'm just not sure what to do.

You gave her some much needed space to give her time to make up her mind. Looks like she has, give her another chance. you sound like a gentleman to me, she must see that now also.

Certainly sounds like she has some interest in you. Perhaps you could ask her out for a meal and/or coffee and discuss how she made you feel before and see if these feelings are right. She may have very well gone out with her friends and been ill when she said. The only way to find out though is to confront her face to face. Best of luck and go for it is my advice.

No harm in having a relationship with her if you go into the relationship again with your eyes wide open.

If you pursue this, don't get to invested to early...feel her out! Keep it light and simple! Then go from there! You'll be able to tell what her intentions are or aren't!
