Well she probably knows that you value your cell phone a lot! So that is what she is going to use to discipline you.
I suggest the following:
1. Try not to misbehave and listen to your mom/dad.
2. Dont make such a big fuss if she takes your cell away that only reassures her that she made the right decision.
3. If you take the punishment calmly for the next few or multiple times it gets taken away then she may consider taking something different away from you.
4. Try not to use your cell so much. What all do you use it for anyways? If it is calling your friends or text messaging try taking up im'ing them using yahoo instant messager instead. This way it makes your mom think you are becoming less interested in your cell phone and will take something else away.
5. Try making it seem like you value something else better like the computer. Act like your playing on it all the time but really your playing on your cell. ( like have your computer on yahoo answers and then leave the key board out, pop open your cell phone and text message your friends, then whenever your mom comes in close your cell and put it under your legs and act like you have been on the computer) Something like that. This way she will want to take away use of computer time and you will still have your cell phone.
I hope this helps you out or helps you think of better ideas. Good luck! bye.

She's taking away your cell phone precisely because you value it so much.
Think about it...if she took away something else that you didn't care about, would the punishment WORK?
If you want her to take something else away, you need to stop valuing your cell phone. If you don't put up a fuss, perhaps she'll decide to take away something else instead.

You little brat, you don't even deserve to have a cell phone. If you would do what you are supposed to do, you wouldn't have this problem. Try acting a little more mature and responsible. Stop acting like a 2 year old, that might help.

She takes your phone away just because she knows it is the one thing you do not want to lose. 1) stop doing things she considers wrong... 2) what else can I say?

I know perfectly how you feel. My mother does the same thing to me and I sometimes DO scream(but into my pillow). When you're mad, you can't think straight, that's why you say things you'll regret.
But don't you think, your own mother, the woman who kept you alive for sooo many years, want to do what's bad for you? I don't think so.
So, then you have to ask yourself, Am I doing something wrong?
When you continue to ask yourself this question, you'll make fewer mistakes, and your cellphone will be with you longer.
I hope this answered your question!!! ^_^

Parents take the cell phone because we know that's the thing you'll miss the most.
Why take away something you don't care about?
We're a little smarter than you give us credit for.

If don't want her to take away your phone them just behave and she won't. chances are she pays for the phone anyway....

This is incredibly immature. Why shouldn't she take your cell phone away when you misbehave? It is a privilege and if you behave badly, then you have earned the right to have that privilege removed.
It isn't rocket science here.

Advice.....don't do anything wrong....
Mom is using the phone as a tool...hoping you'll learn from your mistakes. For the tool to work it has to be effective and at least cause you some discomfort. Sounds like its causing discomfort.
Cause=Effect=Results........
