Yes, however you can also die from drinking too much water.

In moderation, there is really nothing wrong with using ecstasy. There are long term negative effects from prolonged used like decrease of seratonin and decreased memory retention to consider before you decide to take ecstasy. Also, be aware of the warning signs of hyperthermia(overheating) which can result from not staying hydrated.

- Mental Confusion
- Muscle Cramps
- Nausea or Vomiting

Any one of these signs should be taken seriously if you, or a friend, are using ecstasy.

Contrary to some popular belief, it will not turn your brain into a sponge. That particular research which was used by Congress to pass the RAVE Act was renounced by its researcher as seriously flawed. That individual had pumped several grams of MDMA into lab mice to "simulate" the effects of long term use. As anybody who as ever taken medication knows, taking even 300 milligrams of any type of medication is considered high.

Aside from this, I would advise you NOT to take "ecstasy". Pills labeled as ecstasy more often than not contain substances other than MDMA, so you can never know what you are actually getting.

The obvious answer is yes, you can die on X. Will you most? It depends on many factors: the pills content, your health, and what not. I dont want to tell you how bad it is, it is horrible, some of my research is on the deleterious effects of this drug, however if you are going to do it, i dont want you doing it thinking you are going to die. Know who you get it from, be in a safe environment, drink lots of water no matter how you feel, and most of all have fun and learn. Dont do it too much however cause you will mess up some stuff (and trust me it dont grow back that easily).

Yes you can die! If your body can't take it it'll just shut down. I read that a girl die at the club because she took ecstasy for the first time. An hour after she took it, be safe!

Not directly. It's not realistically possible to overdose on ecstasy. However, it is significantly more likely that you will do something that will kill you; it's even possible to die of water poisoning as a result of ecstasy.

My recomendation is DONT DO DRUGS. Yes, it can kill you. Apart from the dangers from impurities, the primary acute risks of taking MDMA resemble those of other stimulant amphetamines. The majority of fatalities and cases requiring emergency care involve hyperthermic syndromes. MDMA appears to decrease heat loss in the body by causing constriction of blood vessels near the skin. In addition, it may sometimes increase heat production by muscles and the brain. These effects may be amplified in people who become dehydrated and are unable to cool by sweating. MDMA can mask the body's normal thirst and exhaustion responses, particularly if a user is dancing or is otherwise physically active for long periods of time without hydration. Because of these effects, MDMA can temporarily reduce the body's ability to regulate its core temperature, and in high-temperature surroundings (e.g. clubs) combined with physical exertion this may lead to hyperpyrexia if precautions are not taken to remain cool. Sustained hyperpyrexia may lead to rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown), which in turn can cause renal failure and death.

Yes, you can OD on X. You can litterally scramble your brain. I have seen friends go berzerk (permanantly) after taking too much. The common types on the market usually are cut with other things (like heroin or meth) that may damage your brain.

I believe that you don't have to take them all at once to have a bad reaction either. The effects are cummulative and each dose is a crap shoot and you are gambling with your life (as you know it).

yes. but only if you are very unlucky or stupid. people die from overheating, or from drinking too much water and flooding their system, or if you are unlucky enough to be allergic to it. Long term effect are more of a worry if you do it regularly. Depression, memory loss, etc...
