That stupid guy with the middle finger on his answer is right, life is not fair, but you don't have to be depressed. I do know what you are talking about. I have my depression stages too. I don't know how old you are, but if your in your 30's it maybe a hormonal thing and you may need meds to control your hormones. I know you don't want to take anti-depressants and i do understand, they suck, i took them for a while. Actually I have took several different kinds trying to find the right kind. None of them I liked so I stopped taking them. One person said you need a therapist, well maybe, or maybe you just need a good friend to poor your guts out to. Sometimes crying helps. Sometimes I watch sad movies. For some reason I watch Titanic when I'm depressed. Keep a journal. Write down your feelings everyday. There are allot of things you can do to release and relax. I hope you feel better soon. Good luck

I made a list of what was making me unhappy and tackled it one by one. What's funny is that in the midst of my depression, I thought my list would fill a page, but there were only 4 items and within 1.5 years, I had taken care of my list and I've been happy ever since.
Good Luck

if you won't consider medication, the two things that will help are:
1. therapy
2. exercise and fresh air/sunlight (a walk is great)
3. a hug

in line with risk you're responding to all those defective souces who attempt to let us know that masturbation is undesirable or evil. purely ignore approximately their perverted advice. Masturbation might desire to head away you feeling sturdy and refreshed. carry on. stay. savour.

i know exactly what you mean. if you won't take medicine, then you need to get a good therapist, because you're making everybody miserable, including yourself. nobody wants every day to suck. you're also making your children deal with your unpleasantness, and that's what they'll learn. I dunno who else you're pissing off, but if you refuse to get help, good luck to you.
