Search the internet for ideas and styles - read all about it - then go look in the mirror. That is just about the cheapest interior decorator you can find! :o)
Good luck with your decorating! I love to do stuff like that on my own! Weekend warrior type of thing.

Ask around. I'll do it! I have worked at a home decor store for 7 years, advising people of what they need. Go to a interior design college and put your request on a bulletin. Students are eager to start. You don't have to pay for anything they purchase unless you approve it first.

You may want to contact a school in your area that offers classes in interior decorating...maybe you can offer your home as a practice pallet for some students to work with their instructor on?

www.la-z-boy.com is using in home interior designers now that will come out to your house, measure, and give you free advice that will at least get you started.
