Why or Why Not?

I do. It's obvious and it's evident that it is happening. So many people fall for the greedy corporate-paid scientists that diliberately confuse the American public so that way they don't have to spend money improvising their ways to save Earth.
Fact: Internal Combustion Engine is 50 years outdated. Why not switch over to new hybrid cars? Corporations are making more money with the IC Engine.
Fact: Earth is nearly the most rarest occurance in the universe. The chances of my life and yours is one in a trillion+.

Anyone that doesn't feel obligated to save this rarity themselves is selfish whether or not global warming is mainly caused by Humans or just slightly caused by it; everyone needs to do their part.

Without a doubt. I live in Canada and on New Years day, I sat outside with my friends and had breakfast on the patio. It is usually -5 and snowy this time of year and I have spring flowers coming up in my garden. I picked fresh mint from my garden for mojitos tonight. It's not right and to be honest it scares the hell out of me.

Not to mention I bought a new snowboard in November and I would really like to use it- all the ski hills are closed to to inclimate weather!!!

No. The technology to monitor "global warming" has not been in existence long enough to detect any change in the universe. There have been numerous incidents of temperature fluxes in the earth's history. And, should we be in a warming trend currently, it is silly and egotistical to think that human beings can have an effect on something as powerful as nature.

Yes. But "global warming" is a misnomer. It's really "global climate change." And it's bad news, brothers and sisters.

Save your mother!

But why did you ask since you clearly won't care about any opinion aside from your own.

I always get confused when people ask questions they know the answers to. What's the point?

BTW: Who overbreeds the cows, person below me?

the whole bit about the rarity of life is debatible but the rest is rather true. the oil companies (just recently announced on cnn) have payed large sums of money to think tanks to discredet the evidence of global warming. they didn't actually come out and SAY 'say this or no money for you' but those think tanks that didn't say things in there favor stopped recieving money...hmmm. my favorite is the cherry picking. 'global warming may be happening but oh look lots of greenhouse gas from cows! thats whats causing it!" um why not mention the praportion of one to the other? yah...

Sure, it is happening but not for the reasons most people would lead you to believe. The earth is millions of years old and has always gone thru periods of both extreme heat and extreme cold. It is currently in a period of warming up.

Fact: The sun is getting hotter. Most of the wacko environmentlists won't ever mention this.

Give me a break... Recent studies show that cow flatulence produce a lot more greenhouse gases than man-made stuff combined. COWS are causing global warming, not man! Look it up.

No its not. If anyone would stop and study the earths globel history then they would know this has happend time and time again. Stop drinking the cool-aid. I do belive that we should seek other forms of fuel, but this is not globel warming.
