I have a 3 year old and 10 month old. My husband loves me very much and says i'm beautiful just about every day, and sex is good!
BUT....I find myself crying alot cause the extra weight is still there. We are not having anymore children, my family is complete so I just wish I could get back the body I had before so that I can enjoy my family better. Sometimes I just wish the extra weight would disapear. If I had the money I would have lippo and a tummy tuck for sure. I know it's the easy way out but I'm at the point that I don't care anymore. Why do I feel this way? I want to be healthy and skinny for my husband and my self. I can't seem to get on a schedule. I do everything for my kids, Don't get me wrong I love them I'm not lazzy. I take my oldest to a play group once a week and we sing and dance while we clean the house I make it very fun for them. It's just I feel very overweight and tired of it! Anyother moms out there just tired of feeling fat?

You no, negative answers is not what i wanted. Don't jsut assum that I eat jelly donuts all day. I don't feel depressed about anything else. jsut wish I wasn't 40 pounds over weight, and wanted to know if I'm not the only one!

it might be post-partum depression, even though it's been 10 mths since you had the baby. see a doctor, you might just need someone to talk to. just remember, it took 9-10 mths to put the weight on, don't expect it to fly off.

I agree you should get a checkup from your doctor just to be sure all your systems are running as they should! Then, be sure you're taking even just 15-20 minutes per day just for you. Take a walk, ride your bike, rollerblade, whatever you can do to have a little time for yourself, and get a little exercise too. It took me almost 18 months to lose all the baby weight when my daughter was born. It seemed like it came off quickly at first until about 4 months after she was born, then just stopped or at least slowed down quite a bit until she was about a year, then all of a sudden it started again and I actually lost MORE than I had gained. Be patient with yourself. If you want it to happen, it will. You're too young for lipo or a tummy tuck. Save that for when gravity hits later in life!!

I know exactly how you feel about the weight. I never quite lost all the weight after my first son (13 years ago). I spent two years going to Curves and was just getting happy with myself and then ended up pregnant. Right now I am only one size bigger than I was before (with a six week old), but it bugs me to no end. All I can say is next month I start Curves again and I can't wait. All you can do is exercise and try to eat right and hope for the best. You are still young so don't lose hope :)

First, go talk to a therapist. You're depressed and need help. Make an appointment this week!!
Second,go to an indoor pool every night and do as many laps as you can. Swimming helps the fat melt away. You also need to get away from your children when you exercise so that you can clear your mind.
Third, lay off the sweets and any white food, such as rice, bread, pasta, potatoes etc. ( The exception is a fiber-filled cereal in the morning.)
Fourth, know that you will feel fat if you're still breastfeeding.
Finally, if you do what I say, you will lose weight, but be realistic. When you have children, your body changes.
Good luck. I hope you feel better.

I agree with the other reply that suggested it may be post partum, I would mention it to your Dr and see what he/she says.
I have one son, pregnant with my second (one month to go). After my first pregnancy I packed on the pounds, felt so uncomfortable, and big! I actually did two things that helped, and am anxious to do once I'm healed from this pregnancy.. First I joined the gym, and I made myself get up and be at the gym for when they opened 6am, and worked out for 30 Min's everyday. Some days I spoiled myself by hanging out in the sauna for a few Min's before coming home.. but it got to be routine, and I loved the ME time, and wasn't trying to find time in the day to squeeze a workout in. Second thing I did was join weight watchers, I enjoyed their flex plan diet, and it worked. I lost 35 pounds, could of lost more, but I was at a more comfortable weight and got pregnant again.
I hope this can help you some, having extra weight and kids isn't fun.

10 months is not that long to lose your baby weight. Quit hoggin out and do some sit-ups. You don't need an operation, etc. You need ordinary exercise. You need to do the workout that gymnast would do. It's fun and will change your attitude. No more donuts and pizza and jelly rolls. Dancing around with the vacume in one hand and a chips ahoy in the other doesn't help!

You should probably see your family Dr. He or She could refer you to a pysch Dr, and/or a nutrionist.
You may be experiencing depression.
