I just thought I'd ask, as new inventions come out everyday? I need to hang curtains over my patio door verticle blinds. If there is nothing new available, guess I'll pull out the old ladder and screwdriver. Curtains make the place feel more homey than just blinds.

I would take the time to browse through architectural, home, and design magazines. Not only are there ads, but usually photographs of many different styles, many not available from the local shops. Ex: victorian, presidential, high French, etc.

I recently purchased a place that had curtains in every room..I am so sick of having to put the curtain hooks back on that keep dropping onto the floor...Im looking at getting verticle blinds again..they are so easy to maintain..plus you dont have to wash them regularly..

There are many types of curtain rods. Go to Sears, Wal-mart, Target, Macy's, Home Depot. Most large stores will have a variety of curtain rods that should meet your needs.

Use velcro. Sew the "female" type of velcro to the curtains and fasten the "male" type of velcro to the edge of a wood board. Press each together to hang them.
