the best thing that worked for me is the AB LOUNGER
i did the 5 min 2 x a week, then stepped it up to 10 min 3x a week and then finally up to 15 min 3x a week.

you don't think its hard doing crunches for minutes, but you have to build up your muscles to it!

i was in and out of the hospital for 2 months, so i got to start all over now, but hopefully i will be down more weight!

i lost 17lbs in 6 weeks doing 15 min 3x a week!!!

As someone who was once Anorexic and trapped in that addictive behaviors, may I suggest instead of a die or weight loss plan, that you do a change of life style plan. One that can be lived every day and I can assure you will put on muscle as needed and take off fat if you are over weight and not just thinking you are.

Try the book: FLIP the SWITCH by Robert K. Cooper PhD.

It's a good over all way of eating properly without dieting or having to cut out foods you like. It also teaches you ways to keep your Metebolic Rate high, which is the keep to eating and staying lean, not thin, lean. Most people will find they eat more and lose weight while following this plan of living that can last a life time.

The ISBN number this book can be ordered from any book store by is ISBN 1-57954-979-9

My miracle diet was eating 5 - 300 calorie meals every day. 1 meal about every 3 hours. On top of that, get a pedometer and take 10,000 steps a day.

I've been doing this for 3 years, and I've gone from 340 to 195.

You'll hit walls in your weight loss. For me it was 10%. For example, I started at 340, I'd lose 35lbs (roughly 10%), then it seemed I was stuck. I kept doing the same thing, but wouldn't lose any more weight. This lasted about 3 weeks for me, then I'd start losing again. I'd be down to 305, I'd lose 30lbs, then hit the same wall again.

Those walls are where a lot of people give up. If you just get by those, you'll be fine.

No matter what I, or anybody else says. Everybody is different, and you should really get a physical before you go on a diet/exercise plan to find out if you should avoid certain exercises.

Severely restricting my calories and jogging a lot. Gets rid of a lot of stored fluids (I lost 16 lbs. in one week). Unfortunately, you also lose a lot of muscle, too.
