After I left the UPC in the early morning hours, I
walked in the cold until I reached McDowell and
Central. It was a little after 8:15 or so in the
morning. I hailed a cab from Sunrise Cab company and
he crossed over a couple of lanes to reach me near the
bus stop.

The cab driver had long grey hair and a straggly
beard. Everything was normal until he started talking
about minotaurs and big foot. He even showed me a book
with a pentagram (sp?) star on it, an upside down star
symbolic of the devil. It had pictures of minotaur
skulls under x-ray?!!!

Anyway, he started asking me really bizarre questions
about if I believed in them and big foot, including
how this explains why people develop 6 fingers and
other abnormalities.

The cab ride was surreal; the most surreal
conversation I've ever had with anyone. The total cost
of the cab ride was $20 even. He dropped me off on the
gate-side entrance to Villagio on Hardy.

Um...you dont need to report it to the police. You didnt die, and you didnt get molested, and you didnt get stolen from. There. done. No police station visit for you.

Books with pentagrams on them aren't illegal. If you're scared of cab drivers, get a ride from somebody else.

There are lots of upside-down stars out there. Did it have a goat's head on it? Was he trying to warn you about the minotaurs? Maybe you should have listened. The cops will just be annoyed that you're wasting their time.

Personally, I would contact the cab company and express your concern over the sanity of their driver. If he made you that uncomfortable, perhaps the driver should be looked after.

You have nothing to report. There isn't a law against someone believing in big foot or worshiping the devil.

Paul-you need a better hobby. Surreal is for television-not for real life.

I don't understand why you would want to tell this to the police. It sounds like some sci-fi movie or story. Get a life!

No crime was committed. The police won't do anything. There's no law against someone being crazy.

Report the incident to the Police if you think there is something irregular and they will decide if a case will prosper.
