I want to ask this hott guy to the sadie hawkins dance next friday. How should i ask him without looking desperate or lame?

When you see him next time, why don't you just take your question and make it into words? The easiest and most painless way to get the message across is to just flat-out ask him. HE'S going to be the one to decide whether you look desperate or lame, or neither. You can't change his opinion. However, it doesn't hurt to be a bit casual. It could be something as simple as: "Hey, I was wondering, if you're not too busy, do you want to go to the Sadie Hawkins with me?" You're conveying the message, but you provide no physical evidence that you are desperate OR over-anxious.
Another cute thing to do would be to buy the song "Sadie Hawkins" by Relient K (if you don't already have it); then put it on a CD and give it to him.
I dunno; just a thought.

Girls never look desperate or lame asking a guy out. They just look bold. Guys look desperate sometimes... yes it's a complete double standard. As long as if they say no you just say ok your loss and don't keep trying. Just be up front, walk up to him, ask, see what he says. If it's yes... you win, if not, walk away like it didn't really matter. You cant really lose.

First off when you ask him, wear something you feel confident in because when you look good, you feel good, and everyone loves confident girls. Then maybe strike up a conversation by complimenting him (not on his hotness!), maybe like if he plays a sport then say he was good in the last game. Then I would just be casual about it, and say something like "Hey, are you going to the dance?" And see what he says, and when you feel ready, just ask if he wants to go with you! And if he doesn't say yes, then he's a jerk. A hot jerk.

ask him "what hes doing on Friday"?
then when he says "nothing"
say "how would you like to go to the Hawkins dance with me"?
you will get a yes or a no then just say if he says "yes" then make plans like ok how are you going to get there will he pick you up will you pick him up?
but if he says no say "OK no worries maybe next time" and shrug your shoulders like its no biggy leave it at that. good luck girl. remember you have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

Don't look or act pathetic when you ask him, just be yes, by all means don't ssttuuutter or seems in the least bit nervous or worse desperate.

im a guy i wouldent like a girl asking me that but so i would just put the word out in sckool that you want to ask him so he gets around and if he really likes you he'll ask you out and all the other chick will envy you with your date

Then grab his hand and pull him on to the dance floor!!!
