I want to drink something natural that I can make myself, or maybe even buy at a health store to use as a meal supplement for dinner and lunch... thanks much!

Most juice is too high in calories which would cause you to gain weight. This is especially true of fruit juices. Though if you have a heavy duty blender you can blunt the reaction a bit by grinding up the rind and seeds of the fruit as well. The rind is where most of the fiber is found.

Celery is very low in calories and can be added to your smoothie to slow down the digestion. Also flax seed powder, hemp seed powder, etc are a good source of fiber and essential fatty acids. Fiber is very important when trying to lose weight. It helps you feel "full" without adding calories. It also helps pull toxins out of your system. And when you burn fat the fiber also helps to transport the weight you are losing out.

So, take two stalks of celery, a wedge of lemon with the rind, a heaping spoonful of flax seed (or hemp seed) powder, some spinach leaves and water. Blend these all together. It gives you greens, and fiber. The extra water helps detoxify you as well.
