Well, it's a fairly simple question, Jesus apparently "loves everyone", and believed in kindness to sinners such that they might repent, etc. etc. So, does he love the ultimate sinner that got screwed by picking the wrong fight? Did he die for Satan's sins too?

If he existed Jesus would love him. In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

You ask a very tough problem theologically and causes a lot of misguided understandings. But Jesus did die for all sins, everywhere and for everything. Unlimited atonement however limited application. Some believe that Satan once fallen cannot keep from sinning that his nature was irrevicobally turned to evil and that continuously as well as the angels that fell with him. However Jesus is God and God is Love, therefore Jesus created Lucifer in the beginning that is who He loves, he does not love Satan's actions, or his evil or his rebellion. If I get it right, Satan was the Archangel that was under Christ. Satan rebelled to obtain the glory that Christ refused and would recieve upon being the Savior of the world. Christ as the Only Begotten Son loved the Father so completely that he muted his own glory as God for the Love of the Father any glory He has as God He gives to His Father. That is why when we see his servanthood we see it in the measure of His LOVE! His Immeasurable LOVE for God is LOVE! When we think about it we it blows everything out of porportion.

Satan wants for himself worship, and thus is in the greatest of deception. He is a creation, not the Creator, and as such, is not worthy of worship.

I believe that Satan is the cause of all of God's heartache, and the worst of it is that he will never repent. However, Satan is not, nor was he ever, a man. Jesus died on the cross for the sin, transgression and rebellion (which Satan is the author) of mankind, not fallen angels.

No. Jesus died for the sins of humanity. Jesus did not die for Satan or the other fallen angels.
The Bible gives us some insight into this. Consider the following:

Luk 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes].
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Jesus said from the cross "Father, forgive them; they KNOW NOT what they do."

The apostle Paul wrote:Act 17:30 And the times of this IGNORANCE God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

It would seem that Satan and the fallen angels are not given the opportunity for repentance and forgiveness because they lived in the presence of God and had more knowledge and are therefore more accountable.

P.S. Pay no attention to the Mormon above me.

Jesus paid the price for us.

Sin entered into this world by Satan.

So the real question does Satan love Jesus.

hate is condemned as a capital sin in the bible, so we can assume, since the bible says jesus is perfect and did not sin that, yes, he loves his brother satan. just as you would love a child or sibling who you grew up with, who later turned to wrongdoing. remember when satan was created he was the annointed cherubim. the chief of the cherubim angels. the same order of angels commisioned by God to guard the entrance to Eden once Adam and Eve were expelled. He wasnt wicked or sinful when he began. he became what is called satan the devil, which means slanderer and opposer literally translated to english. first he slandered God by lying to Eve saying God had held something good back from her, by not letting her eat the fruit. and then he lied to her and convinced her she would not die. this was in opposition to Gods plan and purpose for Adam and Eve to live forever and fill the earth with there children. let us not forget at any time they could have reached out their hand and eaten from the tree of life. you see God creates the humans and the angels with free will, which is the ability to choose. he wants us to love him because we choose to. how would you like someone to love you only because you made them in a way which causes them to love you, like a robot. he wants us to love him on our own free will.

Jesus Christ did not die for any Angels. Good or Evil. He came to earth to die for Humankinds sin. God created us to be different from the Angels. The Angels were created by God to serve Him and to serve Humanity as Gods directs them to. We are created to have fellowship with God, to be a part of His family, sons and daughters. Therefore in Gods eyes, we are above the Angels, we have rank over them in His heavenly kingdom.

God loved Satin as an Angel until he went against him and tried to become bigger and better than him. He cast satin to hell because he wanted to over power him. Does he love him, honestly that is a good question. I think so. The Devil was once an angel so I think so. Oh and as for Jesus, I don't think he loves satin.

Satan doesn't have the option to return to heaven. So why would Jesus have died for his sins? Besides.....Satan doesn't want to go to heaven. If I were him, I'd be fine ruling over my own little underworld.
