you need to eat a balance diet. Starving yourself, is not the way to do it. You could make yourself sick.

This is a bad idea all around. Vitamins are supposed to supplement your diet, not become your diet. The vitamins won't break down properly without adequate nutrition and could be harmful to your body if taken in place of eating healthy meals. You might notice a slight weight loss in the beginning (which would come from mainly water and muscles - NOT fat), but by going on crash diets like these, you:
a) will eventually put your body into survival mode (causing your metabolism to slow down dramatically) because your body feels threatened and actually fights to conserve your stored fats;
b) will deprive your body of the essential vitamins and minerals only found in food;
c) will experience hair loss, vision problems, dry skin, sleeping problems, loss of energy, among other side effects because of inadequate nutrition;
d) will make yourself more susceptible to disease.
Exercising without proper nutrition can be dangerous. Where will your body get the energy it needs to work out and strengh train? You won't gain muscle either because you aren't feeding your muscles and other resources properly, which could be very harmful. Protein intake is especially important if you exercise, and you won't get that from just having water, vitamins, and fruit.
Bottom line - you need to develop a healthy diet regimen, whether you're exercising or not! Your body is just like a car, it won't run without gas. See a nutritionist if you want a personlized eating plan and if you have difficulty choosing which foods/supplements to incorporate into your diet, or see some recommended websites below. If you want to lose weight, do it the healthy way - you're only hurting yourself if you don't. Good luck!

You would probably be really really hungry and miserable. If you are determined enough to live on water and vitamins alone, then you could surely be determined enough to eat a balanced healthy diet. Try it, you will feel a whole lot better. Also, your metabolism will slow WAY down and your body will use whatever it has for energy, including whatever muscle you have, which is what you want to keep to burn calories. AND...you could disrupt your nutrient/chemical makeup enough to interrupt your heart rhythm, leading to cardiac arrest.
