is neutrogena t-gel better or is head and shoulders? or if you could reccomend any other dandruff shampoos that would be great!

out of those two, neutrogena is much better for severe dandruff and head and shoulders is better for mild dandruff. however, the best dandruff shampoo ever is the garnier fructis one. you have to use it for a few days like 3-4 days before you see results. then in about 2 months all your dandruff will be gone and will stay gone. i used this when i had dandruff, now i don't have it anymore and free to use whatever shampoo i want, like brilliant brunette! :]

I have tried them all-including the $35 Nixon from my salon. The absolute best is the head and shoulders intensive treatment-O M G! Amazing! Its the one in the dark blue bottle-it smells great, but even better than that it eliminates the dandruff in one or two uses. I could not believe the difference, and now I have no dandruff-and nothing else ever worked for me, and this leaves your hair so nice and clean!

Head and Shoulders HydraZinc Formula works just as well as Neutrogena T-Gel. It doesn't dry the hair out as much and has a more pleasant smell.
The basic Head and Shoulders formulas work but Neutrogena T-Gel works faster.

There is no answer to this one. Depending on the formula you get, the active ingrediant is different.
Just like medicine from a doctor, over the counter remedies may not work for all. You will have to try one and see if it works. If it doesnt, try the other. Start with the cheapest one first (which in most stores is head and shoulders).

umm. i say you use head and shoulders because it makes your hair clean and it fights dandruff. if you have dandruff it will take it away in about a week! i love it. and try it your elf you will see major inproovement! type the wb page below and look at the info.

actually, if you use vinegar and water it will do a better job. then wash with another one just to get the smell out. trust me, it will control the dandruff and stop the itching. i have a very dry scalp and been through them all.
