60 calories is nothing. you burn more than that chewing the gum. you should be eating more though. when you stop eating, your metabolism slows down and when you start eating again, it's easier to gain weight.

No, not trident, but chewing gum like bubblicious can make you gain. However, I have heard that chewing gum can make a person eat more because they swallow the juices from the gum and it sends hunger thoughts to your stomach and your brain. So people can eat more if they chew gum alot.

I don't know about the Gum making you gain, but I have noticed chewing gum in general always makes me hungry, esp if I have chewed the same piece for a while....anyone else like this too???

no it does not make you gain weight. In fact you can burn calories. However, if you chew one piece after another, then yes you possibly gain because of all the sugar.

since every piece is 5 calories, it doesnt amount to much. you burn it off chewing anyway.
besides: 60 Calories in comparison to 2000? youre not going to be gaining weight.
