Don't you hate nosy relatives like that?
You could always do the "why do you ask?" thing or turn it around and say "I don't know. Why do you think I'm still single?" and hope to embarass them or catch them off guard.
Really though, just tell them you haven't met the guy that's special enough yet to tempt you to give up the freedom you have being single.

If your cousin is a girl, tell them that she snagged up the last great one and then walk away. Another one that shuts people up is "I don't believe in marriage" or "I believe in free love." But you might risk being called a slut by your family.
I hate when people question me about my single status. Or, worse, tell me that the clock is ticking and that I'd better start popping out kids.

Just smile coldly and say, "I haven't met anyone worthy of me." That'll show them that your fulfillment matters most, and they should back off.

Tell them you are engaged, and as soon as his appeal goes thru you'll be getting married.

"Taking a survey are we?", "Sorry, personal information now cost $5.00 an answer.", "And why is it, exactly that you are again?"
